This position will support the oversight of Kimmeridge Treasury projections during monthly forecast routines and the strategic planning process. The individual will work extensively with internal stakeholders within Kimmeridge to accurately account for and project the multi-months impact of liquidity.

Responsibilities

    • Daily cash management, including cash positioning and short term cash forecasting
    • Back office confirmations and settlements
    • Coordinate all loan activity (Management Company and Partners), capital calls and distributions
    • Management of bank accounts, banking relationships, including bank account opening/closing/changes,
    • Support the planning and forecasting process for Kimmeridge Management companies and Funds, maintaining working files
    • Work closely with Investment teams and Controllers to forecast changes arising from variation in Kimmeridge business activities, and macroeconomic conditions
    • Strategic planning and analysis for use of cash, with close coordination with tax team
    • Support ongoing forecast vs. actual variance analytics and commentaries
    • Optimize cash balances between debt, WC and Money Market investments
    • Support the production of ad-hoc analyses, financial planning and review presentation materials for the CFO and the partners
    • Build strong relationship with key internal stakeholders
    • Maintenance and monitoring of hedging activity
    • Payroll oversight/activity
    • Managing foreign exchange needs
Skills and Qualifications
    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related field. 5-10 years of relevant experience; experience in Planning & Analysis, Reporting or Controlling roles is a plus.
    • Working knowledge of financial markets, private equity, rates/markets, derivatives, cash management and banking
    • Complete proficiency in Microsoft applications, specifically Excel and PowerPoint
    • Demonstrated ability to quickly understand complex subject matter
    • Ability to execute tasks under aggressive targets and effectively manage to changes in plan
    • Ability to multi-task, navigate different projects and prioritize issues
    • Strong teamwork and communication skills
    • Thrives on challenges in a fluid working environment
    • Actively listens and assimilates broad ranging information quickly
    • Working knowledge of Investment Bank products including derivatives, prime brokerage, secured funding, along with financial theory and accounting principles preferred
    • Knowledge of funding, liquidity and regulatory developments in the treasury space - preferred
    • Strong analytical skills, critical thinking and problem solving ability; ability to deliver solution-oriented work that reflects independent and pro-active consideration of issues
    • A 'hands on' team player who is equally comfortable carrying out detailed analysis on an independent basis or coordinating input from others
    • Strong process and control mindset. Strong attention to detail
    • Excellent working knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint
    • Excellent written and verbal communications skills and a strong track record of partnership


$175,000 - $250,000 a year

All employees are eligible to participate in health, insurance and 401K plan benefits on their first day of employment. Kimmeridge pays 100% of the cost of the employees health/dental/vision insurance. During each fiscal year of employment, employees will be eligible to earn a discretionary annual incentive bonus, based on company and individual performance targets.
