Warehouse /Office Floater

Are you experienced in warehousing? Do you have experience driving a forklift? Do you have an eye for detail and organization? Then we are looking for you! Arrow Distributing in Oklahoma City is searching for the right person to fill a Full Time Warehouse/Office Floater position.

The Warehouse/Office Floater would be responsible for pulling and packaging orders, putting away and organizing stock, and other various warehouse-related duties. Making deliveries to customers operating a cargo van may also be required. This position would act as a "floater" and would also assist in our sales office by answering phones and placing customer orders as needed. Because of this, customer service skills are required. Hours are Monday-Friday 8 am-5 pm, with the possibility of OT.

Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

This is a manual labor job, and the ability to lift at least 75 pounds is required.

Must be 21 years of age or older due to insurance policy.

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); three months or more related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Valid driver's license with acceptable motor vehicle record.

Basic computer knowledge. Prefer experience using UPS World Ship.

Minimum 1 year experience operating forklift.

Must have at least 1 year of customer service experience.

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee is occasionally required to sit and climb or balance. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 75 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to one seventy five pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move more than one hundred pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. This position requires the incumbent to be able to operate a fork lift.
