If you are a talented ETL developer looking to contribute to meaningful technological advancements, we encourage you to apply to our open position.Office Location - Veterans Affairs facilities located in the Washington, District Columbia (DC) region (on-site).Travel - 0% to 3%Job Description - Senior Developer with expertise with Extract, Transform, Load (ETL)We are seeking a skilled Senior Developer to provide essential support for the ongoing operations of the VBA Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW). The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability, performance, and security of the EDW, as well as collaborating with various stakeholders to optimize its functionality.Responsibilities* Perform data warehousing, data modeling, data integration, data migration, and ETL process development to support organizational needs.* Design and implement conceptual, logical, and physical data models for data warehouse and business intelligence applications.* Install, configure, develop, support, and maintain BI APPS environment or higher, including OBIEE 12c, BI Apps 9.6.3, WebLogic Server, Informatica 9.0.1, Oracle 11.2.0.2, SQL, PL/SQL, DAC 7.8.4, TOAD, SQL*Plus, Unix, and Windows XP.* Develop ETL processes using Informatica to facilitate extraction, transformation, and data loading from OLTP systems to OLAP systems.* Design schema using KPIs, Fact, Dimensions, Physical, Logical, Alias, and Extension tables, and establish relationships and foreign keys between tables.* Implement LDAP authentication to enable Single-Sign-On for users in the development environment leveraging Analytics Repository.* Use Informatica Mapping Designer to create/update mappings using different transformations required to move data into the data warehouse.* Provide recommendations and identify critical issues and processing faults related to data modeling, ETLs, and Informatica processes.Requirements* Bachelor's degree in computer science, electronics engineering, or another relevant technical discipline and 8 years of relevant experience (another 8 years of additional relevant experience may be substituted for education)* 10 years of experience in ETL tools, with a strong emphasis on Informatica and data warehousing applications.* Demonstrated expertise in data modeling, ETL process development, and business intelligence solutions.* Proficiency in OBIEE, BI Apps, WebLogic Server, Oracle, SQL, PL/SQL, DAC, TOAD, SQL*Plus, Unix, and Windows XP.* Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.* Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.Preferred Qualifications* Certification in Informatica or related ETL technologies.* Experience with other ETL tools such as Talend or SSIS.* Knowledge of data mining techniques and tools.* Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.Missing Link Security does not discriminate in employment opportunities, terms, and conditions of employment, or practices on the basis of race, age, gender, religious or political beliefs, national origin or heritage, disability, sexual orientation, or any characteristic protected by law.
