The purpose of the Mobile Supervisor position is to ensure quality repair and maintenance of equipment, such that all jobs are completed with regard to Altec s values while achieving customer goals.

**It is required that this hire will need to live in the state of Nevada.**

Should the selected candidate meet the qualifications of a more experienced level in the career path, the job level may be adjusted.

Basic Qualifications for Entry-Level Supervisor I:

High School Diploma or GED AND

  • Four years of industry-related experience OR
  • One year as an Altec Group Lead (or internal equivalent) OR
  • A bachelor s degree with some industry-related knowledge

Basic Qualifications for Supervisor II (may be preferred):

Bachelor s Degree AND

  • Two years of Altec experience, supervision preferred OR
  • Two years of supervision, industry-related preferred

OR

High School Diploma or GED AND

  • One year as a Supervisor I OR
  • Five years as an Altec Group Lead OR
  • Two years as an ASG Service Tech II OR
  • Five years of industry-related supervision

Travel 0 25%

Problem solving and troubleshooting skills required

General PC skills required

Excellent communication skills required

Must be able to work with team members and work with minimal supervision

Current valid Driver s License may be required

Ability to read and interpret required manuals, prints and schematics preferred

Successful supervisors have a passion for customer service and for helping others. This individual thrives in a fast-paced environment, where organization, administrative ability, and flexibility are necessary skills.

Major Responsibilities

  • Work with Mobile Service Technician (MST) and customer to establish the most efficient and effective schedule for the MST
  • Monitor and supervise daily activities (customer repairs, expense management, fleet maintenance) to ensure customer satisfaction and profitability
  • Enable continuous training for new and current technicians.
  • Have safety and environmental considerations and regulations figure prominently in mindset and practice.
  • Ensure efficient and effective work methods
  • Champion and implement process improvement.
  • Responsible to communicate with Material Control department to ensure proper parts are available for each job to prevent interruption of production while meeting customer requirements
  • Maintain consistent communication with Altec Sales Account Managers in the territory to foster positive relationships between the account manager, technician, and customer
  • Foster team spirit in concert with Altec Values to maintain a successful Service Group within the overall Altec organization.
