**Planner I/II (Transportation)- SCCOG, Norwich**
Regional Planner position with the Southeastern Connecticut Council of Governments (SCCOG), consisting of twenty-two municipalities in a region with a population of 280,430. Assists with the administration of SCCOGs transportation planning program; participates in comprehensive planning activities and functions; provides assistance to member municipalities. May attend night meetings.
Minimum Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills, and Ability:
Planner I requires BA in Planning or related field; Planner II requires Masters in Planning or related field plus 1 year experience, or BA in Planning or related field and 3 years experience.
Successful candidate will have experience with project management and with analyzing and presenting data and preparing technical written reports. As SCCOG serves as the regions Metropolitan Planning Organization, the candidates previous experience in and willingness to increase knowledge about transportation planning processes will be critically evaluated.
Salary Range: To be determined based upon experience.
