**Warehouse Associate**

at Peloton Woodinville, WA **The Role**

The Warehouse Associate is responsible for receiving, storing, and accurately packaging and shipping parts to customers in an efficient and timely manner. This position reports to the Logistics Manager and involves interaction with customer service phone reps to receive orders for shipping.

**Responsibilities**

**Quality:**

* High level of accuracy when identifying and pulling correct parts to meet or exceed customer's expectations.

* Responsible for understanding safety policies and for practicing safe work habits on the job.

**Receiving:**

* Opens containers, unpacks, and examines incoming shipments.

* Compares identifying information and counts, weighs, or measures items of incoming shipments to verify information against bills of lading, invoices, orders, or other records.

* Records and labels incoming parts and shortages as well as rejects damaged items.

**Pulling Parts:**

* Uses the computer system to locate and pull correct parts.

* Picks and labels materials with identifying information including part number and quantity.

* Conveys orders to a packing station using powered industrial trucks, hand trucks, or pallet jacks.

* Confirms order contains the correct part numbers and quantity of parts to match the transfer documentation.

**Boxing:**

* Verifies correct parts pulled according to packing slip.

* Assures parts are identified/identifiable as they are placed into boxes.

* Accurately fills out the packing slip and boxes parts as appropriate.

**Shipping:**

* Reads packing slip to determine proper carrier, (i.e. UPS, Federal Express, US Mail, motor freight), based on packing slip and/or size of order.

* Weighs box, enters information into scale, places carrier-shipping label on box, and puts box into appropriate shipping bin.

* Completes and files paperwork, including verification of parts shipped and shipment type.

* Responsible for shipping parts out internationally, using proper paperwork, (C.O.O, Custom Invoices, Chamber of Commerce Signatures, and International Waybills.)

* Accurately uses Barcode equipment to track shipments.

**Area Maintenance:**

* Keeps the area neat and in order.

* Keeps the area stocked with supplies, including lifting rolls of packing material from floor onto packing machine.

**Qualifications**

* High School diploma or GED.

* Minimum one year shipping experience preferred.

* Other manufacturing experience is helpful.

**Other:**

* Strong communications skills and the ability to read, write, and speak English are necessary.

* Basic math, reading, and communication skills.

* Must be able to comply with the attendance policy.

* Forklift certification preferred.
