GCyber is actively seeking a qualified MAC (Moves, Adds, Changes) Lead to oversee and coordinate all aspects of network modifications, expansions, and upgrades within our high-profile DoD clients secure and dynamic IT environment. The MAC Lead will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless operation and scalability of our network infrastructure, catering to evolving client and organizational needs.

As a MAC (Moves, Adds, Changes) Lead, you will:

  • Spearhead the planning and execution of network moves, adds, and changes, ensuring minimal disruption to ongoing operations and maintaining network integrity.
  • Collaborate with network engineering, IT support teams, and external vendors to coordinate network modifications, including the installation of new devices and the relocation of existing equipment.
  • Conduct thorough assessments and documentation of existing network configurations to facilitate accurate and efficient changes.
  • Develop and implement processes and guidelines for managing network changes, ensuring compliance with industry standards and organizational policies.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all MAC-related activities, providing leadership and direction to technical teams and stakeholders.
  • Monitor and review the completion of network changes, ensuring they meet specified requirements and are executed within established timelines.
  • Provide expert guidance and mentorship to less-experienced IT staff, promoting best practices in network management and change control.
  • Maintain detailed records of network changes, including documentation of configurations, rationale for changes, and impact assessments.
  • Participate in strategic planning sessions to anticipate future network requirements and align MAC activities with broader IT and organizational goals.

Minimum Qualifications and Experience:
  • Active DoD Top Secret Clearance required.
  • Bachelors Degree in a related field such as Computer Engineering, Network Engineering, Computer Information Systems, or Telecommunications.
  • Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in managing network moves, adds, and changes within a DoD or similarly secure IT environment.
  • RCDD (Registered Communications Distribution Designer) certification required.
  • Strong project management skills, with a proven ability to lead complex network modification projects from conception to completion.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, capable of effectively liaising with both technical teams and senior management.
  • In-depth knowledge of network infrastructure, including routing, switching, and the integration of network devices and systems.
  • Familiarity with ITSM best practices and a commitment to maintaining high standards of network security and operational excellence.
