**Description**
**Position Overview:**
The Ship/Terminal Checker I is responsible for recording cargo movement (discharge, loading and stowage on the vessel and load out and receiving of cargos though the terminal, to and from the customer carrier in a responsible, safe and efficient manner.
**Key Responsibilities:**
* Count, inspect, sort, identify & record storage location of all cargo discharging (or coming off a vessel)
* Count, insect, sort, identify & record stow location of all cargo stowed (or being loaded onto a vessel)
* Load / unload trucks
* Mark & take dimension of cargo
* Keep written tallies and record
* Maintain records with the use of electronic equipment (tablets & scanners)
