Our busy law firm is growing, and we are looking for talent that works hard to represent our clients well.
We are hiring for two locations. Morristown, NJ, and Bergenfield, NJ area
Morristown is a new office with the need for a Managing Attorney
The attorney must have experience from a New Jersey law practice to step in and handle pieces of existing family law cases; as well as handle new cases as part of a team, from initial consultation to trial.A Partner or Sole Proprietor with a generous book of business is expected to apply.
Bergenfield area is an existing office to which we are adding an Attorney

Compensation
$150,000 - $225,000
Responsibilities
Determine case strategies and solutions to serve clients needs after analysisCounsel clients by assessing options and determining the best course of action for a successful outcomeGet the appropriate legal documents ready for clients, such as brief, motions, and pleadings, as well as correspondenceRepresent clients in court to argue motions during legal proceedingsConduct research and draft pleadings, briefs, and motions
Qualifications
Public speaking, decision-making, communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills are necessary for this roleWell-versed in legal research software (Westlaw/Lexis)Candidates must currently be a member of their local bar association - active member preferredAble to work independently while handling multiple filesKnowledge of Microsoft Office programs is neededCurrent experience working in a New Jersey law firm for a minimum of 8+ years requiredBarred in New Jersey with Experience in Matrimonial/Divorce/Family LawCourt ExperienceServing as a mediator is preferredSuccessful completion of accredited law school with Juris Doctorate (J.D.) degree with 8 years of related experience
