**Material Handler**
**Location:** Muscle Shoals, AL, US, 35661 **Job Summary**
Loads, unloads, and transports materials in order to keep parts moving throughout the department and/or facility in compliance with company processes (i.e.: Kanban system).
**Essential Duties & Responsibilities**
1. Moves parts and/or finished goods to/and between process areas throughout the plant.
2. Properly places Kanban cards on parts and/or finished goods leaving department
3. Supplies operators with empty roll-around racks, baskets, tubs, etc.
4. Utilizes time efficiently in order to move parts between processes in a timely manner
5. Ensures products stay within the yellow lines throughout the department and/or facility
6. Helps to insure strict adherence to all safety policies and practices
7. Assists and fills in for team members, as needed
8. Helps maintain good 6S' within the department
9. Assists in all cleaning operations within department
10. Performs other duties as assigned
**Requirements**
11. High School Diploma or GED
12. 1 to 3 years of related experience working in a manufacturing environment
13. Completion of training course for forklift operation and current forklift certification
14. Color and normal or corrected vision
15. Strong knowledge, skills, and abilities in the following areas:
a. Communications and interpersonal skills
b. Organizational and planning skills
