As a leader in children s health, we engage in meaningful programs and partnerships throughout the region so that we can improve the lives of children beyond the walls of our hospital.OverviewThis is a two-year post-doctoral appoint ment (with possible renewal) to provide advanced research training to individuals with a doctoral degree in the biological sciences and to further the basic and translational research goals in the Children's Research Institute. The postdoctoral research fellow will conduct high quality research in clinical and translational science. The Ramsey lab aims to perform clinical research and implementation that incorporates pharmacogenetics and pharmacokinetics to optimize medication dosage in children. The postdoctoral scholar will perform pharmacokinetic modeling to understand the effects of clinical and pharmacogenetic factors on the exposure and response to medications in pediatric patients.At Children s Mercy, we are committed to ensuring that everyone feels welcomed within our walls. The pay range for this job begins at $24.14/hr, but your offer will be determined based on your education and experience.Remote Work/Work from HomeThis is an intermittent remote position, which means that the person hired will work with his or her manager to determine a schedule that includes both at home and on-site hours at a Children s Mercy location.
