MILITARY VETERANS
Our client is an industrial strapping manufacturer that is in the process of opening a new state of the art facility in Lancaster, SC. They are looking to build out their maintenance team with military talent who have strong electrical troubleshooting abilities, but are not afraid to get dirty and are able to think outside the box when troubleshooting the machines on-site. They will be running a Panama shift of 2-2-3 with the shifts being 7 to 7pm or 7pm to 7am, your team lead will be the Plant Engineer who has worked for this company for over 30 years and sees your military skill set as the perfect fit for the needs of the new location.

- Visually inspect and test machinery and equipment
- Listen for unusual sounds from machines or equipment to detect malfunction and then discuss machine operation variations with supervisors or other maintenance workers to diagnose problems and repair the machines
- Dismantle defective machines and equipment and installs new or repaired parts and returns machine to working condition
- Clean and lubricate shafts, bearings, gears, and other parts of the machinery on a routine basis
- Lay out, assemble, install, and maintain the material conveying systems, hydraulic and pneumatic equipment, gauges, valves, pressure regulators, and related equipment
- Repair and maintain the physical structure of the establishment
- Set up and operate machine tools such as lathes, grinders, drills, and milling machines to repair or fabricate machine parts
- Operate cutting torches or welding equipment, safely and effectively
- Complete work in a timely manner
- Be able to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations
- Be able to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals
- Be able to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the public
Base salary, plus medical, dental, and vision coverage after 60 days, also STD and LTD, basic life, accidental death and dismemberment, critical illness and cancer coverage, a 401(k)-retirement plan (after 90 days), paid holidays, and PTO.
