**Description**
**Summary** Assists the logistics/warehouse department with several duties as described below.
**Essential Duties and Responsibilities:** Other responsibilities w/ similar skill and work conditions as assigned.
* Inter-departmental package deliveries
* Small parcel outbound shipment processing: process, pack, ship (UPS, FedEx)
**Language Skills**
* *Level II*: the ability to communicate effectively both written and verbally in English as it pertains to individual position.
* Ability to read, write and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
***General Warehouse:*** in order to reach this position, the following attributes, requirements & accountabilities must be realized. Including but not limited to the following;
* Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
* Ability to work in a cold environment
* Ability to clean and organize the warehouse with limited Supervision and or oversight
* Ability to demonstrate basic comprehension of warehouse practices

* The employee is frequently required to talk or hear. The employee must be able to lift and/or move up to 100 pounds, using safe lifting techniques. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, and distance vision.
**WORK ENVIRONMENT**
The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
* Working in a freezer/cooler/dock environment (0-32 degrees F). Floor of work area may be icy, so care must be taken when walking, or driving equipment. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to high, precarious places; outside weather conditions; and extreme cold. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
**Responsibilities for Food Safety** Responsible for completing required paperwork accurately and honestly, where applicable.
