Position Summary:

A key member of the Retail Operations team, the eCommerce and Inventory Coordinator, is responsible for inventory management, order fulfillment and eCommerce execution at the Frank Lloyd Wright Store, located at Taliesin West in Scottsdale, AZ. Working closely with the Director of Retail and Business Services (DRBS), the eCommerce and Inventory Coordinator administers the Frank Lloyd Wright Stores online operation including product selection/set-up, purchase order/invoice management and order fulfillment. This position manages and executes shipping and receiving procedures to ensure inventory flows smoothly and accurately in both the physical store and eCommerce site.

Essential Functions:

Manage on-line shopping portal so that it reflects real-time inventories and product availability

Manage websites product catalogs as needed with new/featured products

Continually update websites look, improve user experience, and propose ideas to increase sales

Play a cross-functional role and work with external business partners as well as internal teams

Collaborate with Marketing and Licensing teams to assure on-line presentation, including product photos and descriptions, are accurate and up to Foundation standards

Partner with DRBS and Marketing on print, virtual and Social Media advertising initiatives

Process daily receiving of product, accurately recording within POS software, confirming quantities, and approving invoices for payment

Place product orders to assure store is fully stocked with seasonally appropriate merchandise

Execute shipping procedures to fill in-store and on-line purchases

Monitor and adjust shipping procedures and costs to reflect annual budget

Work closely with carrier representatives to manage timely deliveries and cost controls

Work closely with sales team to track damages and missing product so inventory tracking reflects updated quantities; work closely with vendor representatives to negotiate appropriate remedies for shortages and damages

Support the sales and management team by filling-in on the sales floor as needed

Maintain a clean and safe work area and updates supplies as needed

Route or deliver materials to appropriate departments as needed

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelors Degree in related field preferred and at least two years of work experience in a management position within a retail or e-commerce setting, or equivalent experience.

Must be highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to multi-task

Knowledge of Shopify (or similar e-commerce platforms), online stores, and retail point-of-sale systems

Knowledge and experience with using MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Power Point, and Word)

Self-starter and a problem solver who can work with minimum supervision

Comfortable working with a team as well as independently as job duties dictate

Customer oriented with good interpersonal skills customer service skills preferred

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Capable of working a consistent schedule, and ability to lift up to 50 lbs. with physical stamina

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous experience in a museum store or specialty retail setting

Knowledge of supply chain management

Previous experience with Shopify eCommerce platform

Flexibility to work on occasional weekends and nights
