**Job Summary**

This position is responsible for the safe and accurate movement of all components and finished goods in and about the plant, staging area, etc. Work includes using a powered forklift truck to move, stack, load and unload materials; all of which are required to be performed in a timely and efficient manner.

**Primary Duties & Responsibilities**

****(30%)** Dock Control**

* Load/Unload trucks and trailers

* Maintain delivery log, Sign off drivers

* Breakdown Freight, Prep freight for Put away

* Receive freight into Locations via scanner

* Open/Close Trailers Systematically

* Load nightly Shipping Trailers, prepare any necessary paperwork, Dispatch Trailers

* Performs daily 5S (House keeping) activities

* Miscellaneous tasks upon request ****(20%)** PNP (Replenishments)**

* Systematically driven Replenishment of Locations based on Priority

* Maintain all Locations in operations filled with Totes.

* Perform consolidation of product upon request

* Assist Operations with any discrepancies in locations and resolve.

* Complete all systematic transactions prior to end of shift ****(20%)** Cycle Count**

* Perform cycle counts in Warehouse and WIP.

* Assist with Re-counts

* Maintain and turn in daily efficiency, discrepancy and equipment log

* Assist operations with inventory discrepancies and resolve. ****(20%) Floating Tasks upon business needs****

* Complete various assignments depending on business needs

* Pull Freight for offline, Rework and other locations designated for rework.

* Complete scrap transaction and removal of product.

* Assist office with any documentation, research and transactions upon request.

****(10%) Un-mapping****

* Remove product form Pick locations back to warehouse locations according to specifications

* Move SKU around upon request as needed.

Other duties as assigned

**Education and Experience Profile**

* High school diploma or GED preferred

* Experience in a material handling position within a manufacturing/distribution environment

* Basic math skills required

* Ability to follow and read basic written and verbal instructions, such as bills of materials and shipping documents, or equivalent

* Experience in Inventory control required

* Experience with bar code scanning preferred

* Ideal candidate will have a current forklift license (Certification on reach truck, sit-down, and stock picker).

* In the absence of a license, candidate must complete and meet approved forklift certification and requirements within 3 months

**Required Skills**

* Heavy lifting required. Must be able to lift and move boxes, totes, and other containers weighing up to 50 lbs.

* Employee must be computer literate and be able to perform basic tasks including:

* Extensive Inventory transactions via barcode scanner

* Basic data entry and computer spread sheet usage

* In some instances, Material handlers are required to operate order picker lift trucks at a height of approximately 26 feet above ground

* Disciplined, detail oriented personality and strong work ethic required

**Work Environment**

Working conditions are normal for a warehouse/manufacturing environment
