Key Responsibilities:

Legal Counsel:

Provide legal advice and counsel to clients in the life sciences industry.

Assist clients in navigating complex regulatory requirements and compliance issues.

Transactional Support:

Draft and negotiate a variety of agreements, including licensing agreements, research and development agreements, and collaboration agreements.

Assist in the structuring and execution of mergers, acquisitions, and strategic alliances in the life sciences sector.

Intellectual Property Protection:

Counsel clients on intellectual property matters, including patent prosecution, trademark registration, and trade secret protection.

Conduct due diligence reviews related to intellectual property assets in life sciences transactions.

Regulatory Compliance:

Advise clients on regulatory matters affecting the life sciences industry, including FDA regulations, product labeling, and advertising compliance.

Assist in responding to inquiries and investigations from regulatory agencies.

Client Relationship Management:

Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their business objectives and providing tailored legal solutions.

Collaborate with colleagues across practice areas to deliver comprehensive legal services to clients.

Requirements

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the state bar and in good standing.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience practicing law in the life sciences industry.
  • Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks and legal issues relevant to the life sciences sector.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
