Desktop Support Technician

We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused Desktop Support Technician to join our dedicated IT team. As a Desktop Support Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of our clients' desktop systems. Your expertise and exceptional customer service skills will be essential in resolving technical issues, providing support, and maintaining a high level of client satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical assistance and support to end-users in person, via phone, or through remote tools
  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues related to desktop systems, peripherals, and network connectivity
  • Install, configure, and upgrade operating systems and software applications
  • Set up and deploy new desktop systems and perform data migration when necessary
  • Perform hardware repairs and replacements as needed
  • Collaborate with the IT team to ensure the proper functioning of servers, networks, and other infrastructure components
  • Document and maintain accurate records of technical issues, resolutions, and user requests
  • Educate end-users on best practices for computer usage and security awareness
  • Assist in the development and implementation of IT policies and procedures
  • Stay updated with the latest technology trends and advancements in desktop support
