Job Details

Radiance Technologies, a rapidly growing employee-owned company, is seeking a Journeyman Acquisition Management Specialist professional to support the U.S. Army Tactical Exploitation of National Capabilities (TENCAP) program. The successful candidate will assist government procurement agencies to define proposals (RFQ) and qualify vendors. They'll apply knowledge of the defense acquisition process to support customers in the analysis and improvement of acquisition process policies and procedures, and devise strategies for deploying and implementing new acquisition policy initiatives. The candidate will also use quantitative analytical techniques to assess system acquisition process issues and develop risk reduction/mitigation approaches for improving acquisition/program planning, control, and execution. Additionally, they'll assist in drafting PWSs, Acquisition Strategies, Acquisition Plans, lifecycle cost profiles, and annual Acquisition Category (ACAT) Reviews.

Required Experience
  • BA/BS in a relevant field
  • An AA/AS degree plus four years of experience OR six additional years of experience can be substituted for a BA/BS degree
  • A minimum seven years of experience supporting DoD Acquisition programs or projects.
  • Experience shall include a minimum of five years of demonstrated experience in applying the requirements of DoD 5000.01 and 5000.02 to DoD Acquisition programs/projects throughout the acquisition lifecycle with full understanding and application of acquisition strategy, work breakdown structure, integrated master schedule, and program planning budget execution.
  • Experience shall include a minimum of three years experience utilizing Microsoft Project.
Desired Qualifications
  • DAU Level II Certification or Federal Acquisition Certification - Contracting Officer's Representative Level 1 (FAC-COR)
  • Experience documenting functional requirements, and functional and technical modifications in a work breakdown structure (WBS) and an Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) created and maintained in Microsoft Project
  • Experience providing financial advisory services for a major segment of the PEO/PM budget for one or more funding lines or type of funds
  • Familiarity with annual spend plans, developing Program Objective Memorandum (POM) briefs, authoring Procurement & Research, Development, Test and Evaluation Forms (P&R) forms, preparing for acquisition milestone reviews and Milestone Decision Authority (MDA) reviews, development and staffing of Acquisition Decision Memoranda (ADM)
