We have two locations in Kahului, one on Alamaha Street and one in the Maui Lani Village Center. Position Overview: Becoming an Employee of Marmac Ace Hardware means becoming part of our team. Position: Retail Sales Associate/Customer Service (Screens) We are hiring for Full-time positions. With on-the-job training, the Retail Sales Associate position is ideal for anyone who wants to learn and loves helping people. Greet all customers as they enter the store with exceptional customer service and aloha. Answer incoming phone calls. Accurately and efficiently ring up customers and maintain all cash transactions at registers. (Training will be provided). Be aware of all promotions and advertisements. Assist each customer with a competent and tailored experience that exhibits respect and aloha. Requirements
* Ability to stand for extended periods of time. Must be able to lift 25 pounds frequently. Reliable: able to be present for scheduled shifts A good attitude: have the ability to interact appropriately with a range of different people. Good communication skills. Reliable transportation to and from work. Be able to work as a team. Education and/or Experience: High School Diploma or GED No experience is needed, but preferred 1-year experience in a customer service, cashier related field or a retail environment
