We're seeking a friendly and reliable laundry attendant to make sure our hotel guests are satisfied during their stay. You should ideally have experience with industrial washing products as well as the ability to lift 20 pounds or more on a consistent basis. Responsibilities:
Load all laundry into the washer and add specified cleaning agents according to directions
Verify that all laundry equipment is in good working order and alert the facilities manager of any repair needs
Take out the clothes and linens after washing and dry them following the manufacturer's recommendations
Look at all of your linens and treat any stains that you find
Ensure all cleaning supplies are in stock and indicate any shortages to the general manager
Qualifications:
At least 1 year of experience as a laundry attendant, housekeeper or similar role preferred
Impeccable work ethic and excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills
Good understanding of commercial cleaning techniques and products
We require the ability to consistently lift 20 or more pounds
High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
