**Position Overview**

The Dispenser Assembler I is primarily responsible for the daily assembly of Hot Top 2 dispensers, parts and occasionally other miscellaneous assembly projects as directed by the Appliance Assembly Manager.

**Job Responsibilities**

* Assembly of dispensers, utilizing power tools, while following product specifications for different models. Must be able to meet the production goals established by the Appliance Assembly Manager.

* Testing units and parts while assembling to ensure all Gehl specifications are met. Complete daily paperwork confirming all required testing has been completed.

* Assist in the assembly of parts, fasteners, and sub-assemblies for shipments.

* Identifying faulty parts during the assembly process by testing the assembled parts or products to check their quality and function ability.

* Maintains supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed supplies; verifying receipt of supplies. Notifies Manager when inventory is running low on dispenser parts.

* Keeps equipment operational by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for repairs.

* Proactively notify Manager of any inconsistencies with parts or machines.

* Ensure compliance with corporate and plant safety standards and with applicable regulatory requirements while following the company's Good Manufacturing Practices.

* Ensure that required competencies to carry out these job functions affecting product legality, safety and quality are met in accordance with the Quality Policy and Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI) standard.

* Responsible for restocking parts and keeping work area safe and clean.

* Other duties as assigned.

**Minimum Qualifications**

* High School Diploma, general education degree or equivalent

* Ability to read and comprehend written procedures

* Attention to detail and accuracy

* Willingness to work in a team environment

* Good communication skills, both verbal and written

* Good decision-making and judgment skills

**Preferred Qualifications**

* Prior Forklift experience

* Familiarity with personal computers

* 6 months Manufacturing Quality Experience
