**Here is what you will do**
VitalAire is currently recruiting a highly energetic and motivated full time **Shipper/Receiver** for our **West Kelowna, BC** location.
The **Shipper/Receiver** is responsible for the accurate receiving and shipping of medical products in order to satisfy internal and external customer needs. The incumbent is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory levels, controlling backorders and assisting in managing dead stock and turns.
* Prepares pick sheets and delivery; ensures picking and staging of orders and completes all documentation relating to shipping and receiving
* Liaises with branches and Customer Care Centre/Service for orders.
* Ensures minimum and maximum stock levels are adequately maintained and counted weekly. Maintains quality service by following organization standards.
* Verifies material being shipped including verifying part numbers and tagging.
* Ensures the completion of Purolator and FedEx documentation.
* Manages the receiving process by receiving products, checking for defects, verifying products to packing slips, unpacking products and stocking shelves.
* Complies with applicable certification requirements by studying existing and new legislation; promoting adherence to requirements, and making recommendations to management on needed actions.
* Participation of branch on call rotation
* Obeys corporate safety policies and procedures by working safely, encouraging safe work, and reports unsafe occurrences/practices.
* Continuously improve branch operations by evaluating processes and workflow, and participating in other quality improvement activities.
* Other duties as required.
**Here is what you will need**
* High School Diploma
* 2-3 years experience in a similar role or in a production/warehouse environment
* Forklift Certificate is an asset
* Ability to drive a tow motor
* Order picking and general shipping/receiving experience an asset
* AS400 or ERP system experience an asset
* Proficient with Google applications
* Gas cylinder handling experience preferred
