As a 401(k) Consultant/Advisor at you will play a pivotal role in guiding clients through the complexities of 401(k) retirement planning. You will be responsible for working closely with employers and employees to establish and maintain 401(k) plans, responsible for investment reviews, plan design consulting, fiduciary work, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and offering expert guidance to maximize the benefits of these plans.Key Responsibilities:Client Consultation: Consult with employers and plan sponsors to understand their specific retirement plan needs and goals. Provide expert advice and develop tailored 401(k) plan solutions.Plan Setup and Maintenance: Coordinate the establishment of 401(k) plans for clients, including plan design, document preparation, and compliance with IRS and DOL regulations. Ensure accurate recordkeeping and contributions.Employee Education: Conduct workshops and individual consultations to educate employees on 401(k) plan features, investment options, and retirement planning strategies.Compliance and Reporting: Maintain compliance with all IRS and DOL regulations and ensure accurate and timely plan reporting. Monitor plan activities to address any compliance issues promptly.Investment Guidance: Offer investment advice and guidance to clients and plan participants. Assist in the selection and monitoring of investment options.Plan Evaluations: Periodically review and evaluate the performance and effectiveness of 401(k) plans, recommending adjustments and improvements as needed.Market Research: Stay updated on industry trends, changes in retirement legislation, and market conditions to provide clients with the most up-to-date information.Documentation: Maintain accurate records of all client interactions, plan documents, and administrative processes.#LI-YT1
