**We Are Looking For:**

Montana Instruments, a growing high-tech Company in Bozeman Montana, is seeking a Material Handler II. The Material Handler II is responsible for shipments and receipts of all materials, products, and supplies. Their responsibilities include inspecting incoming shipments for accurate counts and damage, entering incoming product into the ERP inventory system, stocking parts on shelves, picking jobs for production, and packing small parcel and freight shipments. They move products in the warehouse either manually or using equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks.

**Responsibilities:**

Load and unload incoming and outgoing materials and products

Move materials to and from loading docks, delivery trucks, storage areas, and manufacturing areas

Identify and label materials, and record their locations in the warehouse to maintain accurate inventory counts

Prepare finished products for shipment by identifying their location, then pulling, packing, and loading them

Operate hand trucks, forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment to move freight

Ensures parts are received on a timely basis and that customer orders are shipped per schedule:

+ Small parcel & Freight

+ Domestic & International (Including working with US Customs documentation)

Perform and report cycle counts and physical inventories

Perform basic Epicor (ERP) system transactions

Pull and manage inventory kits for production jobs

**Minimum Qualifications:**

3-5 years relevant work experience

Experience operating a forklift (certification preferred)

**Desired Skills:**

Must be able to work well independently and in a team

Must have high attention to detail

Ability to prioritize tasks and be flexible with changing priorities

Proficient in Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, and Outlook)

Knowledge of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software (Epicor preferred)

Knowledge of Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) guidelines

Knowledge of export compliance processes, regulations and incoterms

Knowledge of inventory control processes

**Physical Demands and Working Conditions:**

Able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Stand for extended periods of time

Able to work outside in all weather conditions
