**Position Overview**

The customer support pilot is responsible to ensure our customers have a positive uniform customer experience and all aspects of the relationship are implemented and performing per contractual requirements. The Customer Support Pilot will be responsible for performing maintenance check flights and supporting customer training. The candidate will be responsible for assisting customers with aeronautical operations, troubleshooting, and general operation of the companys product. The candidate will interface as needed with internal support organizations, including Engineering, Quality, and Flight Test.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

Provide guidance for aircraft operations with a focus on safety.

Attend missions planning briefings and provide recommendations relating to safety provisions, aircraft performance capabilities and limitations.

Attend missions debriefing for aircraft performance feedback.

Observe pre-/postflight checks as needed.

Act as pilot in command for maintenance and training flights of optionally piloted and remotely piloted aircraft.

Advise the customer regarding flight schedules, airspace, resources, frequency management, and other aspects of flight operations.

Assist in completing all documentation required for flight operations, equipment operational status, data collection, and post-flight procedures.

**Minimum Requirements**

FAA commercial pilot or ATP certificate with multi engine rating.

Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in military or commercial aviation operations.

Minimum 500 total PIC hours with 100 multi-engine hours.

Experience as a flight instructor (CFII or military equivalent).

Excellent analytical, interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills to accurately interface with all levels of employees, including senior management and senior military and civilian customers, contractors and aircrew.

Demonstrated ability to work in a customer facing role and as a collaborative member of a diverse team.

Ability to travel CONUS and OCONUS (up to 100%) to customer and supplier locations on short notice and for extended durations

**Desired Requirements**

Bachelors degree in Engineering, Technology, or Aviation Management.

One or more years of experience (or 250+ hours) in Military UAV operations .

Experience flying DA42 aircraft.

Excellent problem-solving and technical skills.

Able to work with a variety of personalities and maintain composure under stressful conditions

Able to effectively locate, communicate, and document information.

**Physical Requirements**

Must be able to obtain a FAA class II medical certificate.
