**Position Summary**

Assist Shop Superintendent and Foreman in inventory and control and safety related programs.

**Essential Duties & Responsibilities**

Abide by Company Safety Programs and Policies by performing duties safely.

Input order entry credit memo processing as needed. Record and report all order errors.

As needed due to business demand, assist shop staff and mechanics with customer order processing and order entry procedures.

Check in-bound/outbound deliveries count and identification of returns.

Support the NEBCO/Constructors Safety program to maintain a safe and accident free workplace.

Conduct daily inventory reporting and reconciliation with approval of purchases.

As needed, assist with Shop Programs and Projects.

Other duties as be assigned.

**Qualifications**

* High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

* Previous inventory/warehouse/purchasing/safety experience is helpful and preferred.

* Must be flexible regarding work schedule. There may be quiet times between projects.

* Must be reliable and able to work with minimal supervision.

* Must have meticulous attention to detail.

* Must be able to maintain business like attitude when dealing with others.

* Ability to multi--task is very important.

* Must have an ability to understand the work flow process of inventory and safety.

While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear.

The employee is frequently required to use hands and fingers to handle or feel.

The employee is required to stand; walk; sit and reach with hands and arms; and kneel and crouch.

Must stand or walk or regularly require lifting/handling/carrying materials or product of moderate weight (10-20 lbs.).

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

Must wear appropriate safety protective equipmentsteel toed shoes.
