Manager of Operational Excellence


Job Details

1.Strategic Planning:

Develop and implement a comprehensive operational excellence strategy aligned with organizational goals.

Collaborate with senior leadership to align operational excellence initiatives with overall business objectives.

2.Process Optimization:

Analyze existing processes and workflows to identify areas for improvement and efficiency gains.

Implement Lean and Six Sigma methodologies to streamline operations and eliminate waste.

Facilitate the development and ensure meticulous operator adherence to centerlines, promoting a culture of operational consistency and efficiency.

3.Performance Measurement:

Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure operational performance.

Implement metrics and reporting systems to track progress and identify opportunities for improvement.

4.Change Management:

Lead change initiatives by fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.

Collaborate with teams to ensure smooth implementation of process changes and improvements.

5.Training and Development:

Develop and deliver training programs to enhance the skills and capabilities of employees in operational excellence methodologies.

Foster a learning environment that encourages continuous improvement at all levels of the organization.

6.Cross-Functional Collaboration:

Work closely with various departments and teams to understand their processes and identify opportunities for collaboration and improvement.

Facilitate cross-functional teams to address complex operational challenges.

7.Root Cause Analysis:

Conduct thorough root cause analyses to identify the underlying issues contributing to operational inefficiencies.

Implement corrective and preventive actions to address root causes and prevent reoccurrence.

8.Quality Management:

Collaborate with quality assurance teams to ensure that operational excellence initiatives align with quality standards and compliance requirements.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:(To perform this job successfully, and individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required).

Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or a related field

Proven experience in operational excellence, process improvement, and change management.

Strong understanding of Lean and Six Sigma methodologies

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Project management experience, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Leadership experience with the ability to motivate and inspire cross-functional teams.
