Title of Position: Nursing Clinical Instructors - PEDS (2) & OB (1-2)

Salary Range: Contracted; $33.00 - $37.00 per hour - Dependent on Education Level

Projected Start Date: August 2023 (fall semester runs 8/21/23-12/15/23) &

January 2024 (spring semester runs 01/16/24 -05/10/24)

RESPONSIBILITIES: EMCC is seeking adjunct clinical nursing instructors (approximately 16 - 18 hours/week for up to 16 weeks per semester) for the Bangor campus. Specific area of needs is Pediatrics, Obstetrics, and Medical-Surgical clinical instructors. Responsibilities include the supervision/instruction of associate degree nursing students in hospital medical/surgical and/or skilled nursing settings. Clinical instructors are responsible for assigning patients who meet the educational and clinical experience requirements. Clinical instructors plan pre- and post-conferences and provide regular feedback to students for performance improvement and review. Final clinical evaluations are the responsibility of the clinical faculty.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

* BSN (Master's degree in nursing preferred)

* Current Maine RN licensure

* Medical / Surgical experience required.

* Clinical Experience in Related Discipline to area of instructor position

* CPR Certification
