Collection Specialist (B2B) - Free Parking in Baltimore!

About the Company and Opportunity:

Our client is a long standing client of ours whose a leader in the SaaS industry!
Due to growth, they are hiring an Collections Specialist in their DC office!
Position is in office in Baltimore, MD.
Pay: $25-28 per hour, Mon-Fri, 8:00a - 5:00p.
This position is temporary, but for the right candidate can become permanent!

Overview of the Collections Specialist role:

Business to Business Collections- mostly email contact with customers; statement letters sent electronically via email. There will be times when the person will want to get on the phone with the customer to clarify details with the customer.
Will apply cash receipts to invoices that have been paid.
Will assist with getting invoices out to customers, especially those that use a portal or other billing method and not a mailed invoice
Additional projects, as requested

Preferred Qualifications for the Collections Specialist:

2-5+ years of collections experience ideally. Open to candidates with general accounting background who are interested in collections.
Salesforce is a plus
Basic to intermediate Excel skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
