**Description**

* As directed, performs a variety of warehousing duties which require an understanding of the established storage plan.

* Work involves most of the following: verifying materials (or merchandise) against receiving documents, noting and reporting discrepancies and obvious damages; routing materials to prescribed storage locations; storing, stacking, or palletizing materials in accordance with prescribed storage methods.

* Perform warehouse functions including receiving, storing, moving and shipping inventory using Material Handling Equipment (pallet jacks and forklifts).

* Rearranging and taking inventory of stored materials; examining stored materials and reporting deterioration and damage; and removing material from storage and preparing it for shipment.

* Performs clerical and physical tasks in connection with shipping goods of the site in which employed and receiving incoming shipments. In performing day-to-day routine tasks follow established guidelines.

* In handling unusual non-routine problems, receives specific guidance from supervisor or other officials.

* Primary purpose is to perform any necessary or required grounds maintenance duties.

* Reports all accidents/incidents to Supervisor.

* Operate hand or power trucks in performing warehousing duties.
