The Salvation Army, an internationally recognized non-profit, faith based organization, has a job opening for a Case Aide Shift Coordinator in the Women and Family Services Program at the Carr P. Collins Social Service Center , located in Dallas, TX. Provides direction and oversight to designated Case Aides staff by demonstrating competence in the job duties of Case Aides; provides daily supervision, monitoring, reporting, and technical support services to clients; appropriate records in addition to ongoing written and verbal communication with clinical and other professional staff in relationship to daily client activities; performs crisis intervention counseling when needed; works with individuals and groups to develop life management skills; facilitates an emotional and physical environment conducive to enhancing positive client morale and stabilization; reports pertinent information to the Case Aide Supervisor.

2nd - 2pm - 10:30pm
Essential Functions: Knowledge of basic recordkeeping practices and procedures. Knowledge of individual and group counseling as well as crisis intervention techniques. Ability to communicate effectively with clients in order to control, lead, and motivate behavior. Ability to maintain the security and confidentiality of client records. Ability to work independently and with limited supervision while enforcing established policies and procedures. Ability to serve as a role model with physical and emotional health adequate to meet the demands of the position. Ability to present a positive and professional image of The Salvation Army. Required Education High School
