Were building Cable because were passionate about reducing financial crime. Financial crime comes with devastating consequences from the horrific human cost to the downstream impact on government, businesses and communities but despite increased regulations and efforts, we are still failing in this fight. More than $4 trillion is laundered each year, and globally less than 1% is caught.

What were building

Were approaching the problem of financial crime with a completely new lens, and are building an innovative new product to reduce financial crime. Our product automates the testing of financial crime controls, and helps companies understand and improve their effectiveness. We are building the tool for Compliance Officers - this is a hugely underserved market, and one that is ripe for disruption.

We are building world-first technology to make a real, tangible improvement in the world, starting in the financial services industry. But this is just the start. Our mission will require us to build products across multiple industries and geographies.

The role

We are looking for a Marketing Manager with experience in Account Based (ABM) and Growth Marketing (ideally deep experience in at least one of these areas) at early stage startups, to join Cable working directly alongside our co-founders, Chief Revenue Officer, product, and go-to-market teams. This is a high-impact, high visibility role where youll have significant influence on the direction and growth of Cable with substantial creative freedom and responsibility.

What youll be working on

Account Based Marketing (ABM)

  • Crafting and executing innovative and impactful ABM campaigns focused intently on driving business for Cables target and named accounts. This includes always-on, tactical and experiential strategies in both a one-to-one and one-to-many format.
  • Performing research and data enrichment on our named accounts, working closely with both our Sales and Revenue Operations teams, ensuring effective and audience targeting and segmentation.
  • Implementing cadence-driven marketing flows, using a wide variety of firmographic and demographic data sets, including email, calling, paid media, syndicated content, direct mail and more.
  • Tracking and reporting on your work in a data-first way.

Content Creation & Paid Media

  • Owning the direction and creation of demand-generating content, including an editorial content calendar, planning and execution of monthly virtual events such as webinars, panels and customer spotlights as well as consistent weekly articles and supporting social content up to 3x per week.
  • Continuously improving our product positioning and messaging to ensure that our customers, partners, and potential clients remain up-to-date on Cables product capabilties and we continue reaching our intended audience
  • Curating ideas for compelling original content and managing the production and distribution of that content, alongside our Financial Crime Experts.
  • Leveraging Cables incredible customer-base to generate high-value customer marketing content including: best practices, quotes & testimonials, spotlights and longform case studies.
  • Running and testing with various paid media and content syndication outlets; including digital advertising, influencer marketing, sponsorships with associations and mainstream media.

Field Marketing & Events

  • Identifying, prepping for and managing operations of roughly 5-6 conference-style events per year, including aggressively pursuing speaking engagements for Cables subject matter experts.
  • Owning the personalized positioning and messaging for each event based on theme, target audience, and location across email, sponsored content, experiences etc.
  • Curating (up to) monthly VIP field events per year; identifying target cities, booking and operations as well as crafting the personalized invitations for Cables high-value targets.

Public relations

  • Publishing press releases for all key technology partnerships, new customers and AAA product launches.
  • Co-marketing efforts with key Cable ecosystem partners such as Alloy, Plaid, Unit21
  • Securing speaking opportunities at industry events, networking events and especially expert panels and podcasts.
  • Promoting and evangelizing Cable through industry awards in software, fintech, banking, regtech and more

Our has hands-on experience leading financial crime teams and has seen firsthand the lack of tools and technology needed to conduct effective oversight of financial crime controls. Our team have worked in leading fintechs and startups and have experience building scalable infrastructure and beloved products from the ground up.

How we work

We are a remote only company. We are building our product and engineering teams in European timezones and our other teams in North American timezones. This role will be based in North American timezones, but will need considerable crossover with GMT.
