PSI Pax, Inc. has an exciting opportunity for a Junior Financial Analyst to join us in support of our government customer, the NAVSEA ERP Business Office, based in Indian Head, MD.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Under general supervision, support the NAVSEA Navy ERP business office in providing financial operational support for the NAVSEA Command. Duties include but are not limited to:
- Supports financial posting of Navy ERP transactions resulting from interfacing system including the Defense Travel System (DTS) and the DFAS Daily Expenditure File (DDEF) which creates Unmatched Disbursements (UMD) records.
- Coordinate with functional subject matter experts to resolve end user or data issues.
- Supports master data management.
- Assists in generating reporting and analyzing data.
- Support invoice and payment processing for NAVSEA vendors.
- Provide accounting transaction reconciliation support.
Qualifications: - Secret Clearance. Candidate selected will be subject to a Government background investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. A FINAL Secret adjudicated clearance is required to start.
- Two (2) years of general business experience. Accounting or financial management experience is desired.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and advanced Excel functions.
- Must work well independently; have the ability to interface with customers in senior/executive level positions.
- Must have strong written and verbal communication skills and must provide customer service both internally and externally.
Education Requirements:
Associates Degree in business discipline.
High School Diploma may be substituted for Degree with an additional two (2) years of relevant experience.
