About The Role & Team

Join us on an exciting journey at Amplitude as a Senior Director. Finance & Strategy! We're on the lookout for an individual with a passion for data and analytics, eager to work closely with our Chief Product Officer (CPO) to shape our product strategy and guide investments.

As a Senior Director. Finance & Strategy, you will:

Strategic Synergy:

  • Move beyond traditional accounting. Steer budgets and forecasts as though you're actively shaping the future.

You'll be a great addition to the team if you have:

  • A Bachelor s degree in Finance, Business, or a related field. MBA or advanced finance degree preferred.
  • 12+ years of experience in strategic finance, financial planning & analysis, or related roles, preferably within SaaS or technology companies.
  • Demonstrated experience collaborating with product teams, emphasizing your ability to work closely with our innovative Product team.
  • Strong analytical, modeling, and forecasting skills, coupled with proficiency in SaaS metrics, financial systems, and tools.
  • Outstanding communication skills with an ability to convey complex financial concepts to a diverse audience.
  • Leadership skills with a track record of building and leading successful teams.

This role is eligible for equity, benefits and other forms of compensation.

Based on legislation in California, the following details are for individuals who will work for Amplitude in San Francisco Bay Area of California. Salary range: $270,000 - $405,000 total target cash (inclusive of bonus)
