The IT Business Analyst is an experienced professional that will focus on optimizing the use of software investments, analyzing data to facilitate decisions and assist in providing strategic solutions. Using fact-based analysis, the IT Business Analyst II will interact with the business unit to gather, propose and document requirements as related to potential enhancements. Recommends enhancements to existing processes to allow the system to meet the planned future goals of the business. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented and will serve as the liaison between the business and IT to understand future goals and objectives and maintain context in order to achieve strategic visions.
Key Responsibilities

Keeps business partners informed of problems, issues, and resolutionsArticulate the business impact of opportunities and problems through financial and non-financial analysisMaintain awareness of business strategies and objectives, including critical business problems and business goals. Qualifications
Required Education, Skills & Experience
Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business or related field.3-5+ years of related experienceSAP experience requiredRobust knowledge of leading practices for SAP in area of focusWillingness and ability to learn new technologies on the jobDemonstrated ability to communicate complex results to technical and non-technical audiencesProficient at functioning effectively within a team environment, present ideas and opinions in a respective and collegial mannerStrong business acumen related to the utility industryAbility to multitask and manage multiple priorities
Licenses and Certifications
Entry Certificate in Business Analysis (ECBA ) or equivalent, PreferredIT Process Certifications (ITIL, Six Sigma), Preferred
