Director of Financial + Operational Analysis | PM Hotel Group


Job Details

Reporting to the CFO, the Director of Financial + Operational Analysis will be responsible for extracting insights from data to optimize our hospitality operations. You will be tasked with using data analysis to enhance guest experiences, streamline processes, and drive revenue growth.

What You ll Do:

  1. Data Strategy and Management:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive data strategy, including data collection, and assist with storage and security protocols as needed.
  • Oversee data governance and ensure data quality and integrity.
  • Optimization and Efficiency:
    • Work with various departments to streamline processes and find operational efficiencies.
    • Make data-driven recommendations for resource allocation and improvements.
  • Performance Metrics and KPIs:
    • Define, monitor, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) for various operational aspects, including guest satisfaction, revenue, and efficiency.
    • Use data-driven insights to suggest improvements and optimizations.
    • Collaborate with different departments to implement improvements based on data insights.
  • Predictive and Prescriptive Analysis:
    • Utilize data analytics and statistical models to predict future trends and prescribe actions for improving operations and guest experiences.
  • Reporting and Dashboards:
    • Create and maintain data visualization dashboards to provide actionable insights to stakeholders.
    • Regularly present findings and recommendations to executive leadership.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:
    • Collaborate with other departments, such as marketing, finance, and People + Culture, to drive data-driven decision-making throughout the organization.
  • Data Technology Evaluation:
    • Stay up-to-date with emerging data technologies and tools, making recommendations for adoption where applicable.
    Qualifications:
    • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g. Analytics, Business, Operations, or Hospitality Management).
    • A minimum of 3 years of experience in data analytics and leadership roles, preferably within the hospitality industry.
    • Proficiency with data analytics tools and the ability to interpret data for operational improvement.
    • Strong understanding of hospitality operations and the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
    • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex findings to non-technical stakeholders.
    • Strong leadership and team management skills.
