QUALITY ASSURANCE DEVELOPER
IMT Insurance is seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Developer to be part of the team developing our next generation policy administration platform. As a QA Developer, you will work with our software engineers to assure delivery of defect-free features through a mix of manual and automated testing. Ideal candidates will be passionate, self-motivated, detail-oriented, and desire to build a top-notch end-to-end automated test suite. A DAY IN THE LIFE
* Design and develop frameworks and procedures for automated testing.
* Design, develop, and support automated testing suites.
* Identify, define and design test cases for new feature development.
* Backfill test coverage for existing production features.
* Collaborate with IT/ Technical Services team for bug recreation and resolution.
* Support IT/Technical Services in the development of automated business acceptance tests.
* Mentor team members on test automation.
* Maintain code integrity and organization.
* Responsible for technical documentation.
* Provide backup coverage and support for team members.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
* A college education in Computer Science, MIS or similar field, 2+ years of relevant experience
* Ability to read and understand code written in Python and Javascript.
* Ability to write JavaScript to support test automation.
* Ability to read API documentation and consume APIs using a tool like Postman.
* Must be detail oriented while maintaining accuracy.
* Ability to analyze and solve problems.
* Ability to listen and communicate to internal customers and software developers, both verbally and in writing.
* Ability to prioritize workload and simultaneously handle multiple tasks.
* Proficient in code versioning tool Git.
* Must possess the ability to work well with others.

The salary range for this position is $68,000.00 - $90,000.00
Starting salary will depend on level of experience.
Fully remote work involves important payroll and legal considerations for the company. IMT has identified eligible states of residence for continued employment with IMT. Eligible states include: Arizona, Colorado, Florida, Iowa, Illinois, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, Pennsylvania, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Washington, and Wisconsin.
