Lead SDET
Location: 100% Remote
Contract to Hire, Long term Contract
Job Description:
We are supporting a Senior Director in the Quality Assurance space, who is looking for a talented, Lead SDET.
Our client is currently going through a cloud migration of one of their systems into AWS. They need a Rockstar Lead SDET that can help them get there. Having experience with programming/coding is super important and our client loves seeing CS degrees. Our client is looking for someone that has done both back end and front end automation, with Java/Selenium and Java/REST Assured, respectively. Some knowledge of constructing SQL queries will also be required.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, Communications, or related field (or equivalent work experience in a related field)
- 10+ years of experience in one or more of the following: software engineering and/or quality assurance
- Computer science fundamentals algorithm design, problem solving, complexity analysis and data structures.
- Testing process, test types, test design and testing methodologies
- Strong programming with Java/J2EE
- Strong QA experience front end and back end automation experience
- Experience with Selenium
- Experience with REST Assured
- Experience with Playwright
- Performance testing with Gatlin
- good SQL skills
- AWS
Leadership skills Experience in leading team of 4-8 SDETs
Build team/hire other SDETs as needed for the assigned workstreams
Collaborate with other teams for integration/end-to-end testing
Collaborate and mentor other Juniors as needed
Take ownership of releases from quality side and assess risks to ensure product delivered with good quality on the scheduled timelines
Full automation regression with less turn around time for release
Preferred qualifications:

- Typesript experience
- AWS certification
