**Automotive Painter (2nd Shift)**

****Position Description:****
**This will be a 2nd shift position starting at 3PM-1:30AM Monday-Thursday.**
**Well count on you to:**
* Use our high tech paint mixing machine to create an exact matching color of the vehicle
* Formulate all refinish coatings including primers/undercoats, base or color coats and clear coats
* Use crafty paint techniques with spray gun and spray brush to apply paint onto the surface of vehicles
* Communicate with Paint Prep team to ensure preparation is intact and ready to go for the paint application
* Fill cavities and dents with putty to attain a smooth surface
* Inspect painted units for quality of workmanship, noting any runs, sags and unpainted areas
* Maintain and wear all required safety and personal protective equipment, including respirator
* Comply with all laws and regulations pertaining to paint, thinners, and other hazardous materials while also reporting any issues to management
**Skills & Qualifications:**
* 3+ years experience as an Auto Body Painter
* Auto Body Shop experience is a plus
* Ability to collaborate with other team members in a fast paced work environment
* Excellent attention to detail and ability to clearly see sanding, paint flaws, scratches and imperfections
* Possess the physical stamina to work on hands and feet
* Valid drivers license with clean driving record
