SUMMARY:

Position is located onsite in Houston, Texas. Remote candidates will not be considered.The VP, Talent will magnify our mission of Building Better Lives by delivering impactful talent acquisition and development programs that support our team members experiencing their best lives. Incumbent will develop, implement, and measure MetroNational s talent strategies and programs across the team member lifecycle, including talent identification, attraction, acquisition, selection, onboarding, development, and retention. This role will consult to understand learning needs, influence, and build alignment through strong relationships, and build deep business knowledge in areas of focus.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Partner across the MNCares team and with leaders throughout the organization to create an inspirational, holistic, and integrated approach to all aspects of the team member experience. Act as a change agent to drive continuous improvement throughout the organization.Oversee the execution and evolution of our organization-wide talent management and planning processes, including company-wide goal setting and performance review processes and our company-wide quarterly check-in coaching and feedback processes.Instill a culture of formal and informal feedback and recognition across MetroNational, where our team feels valued, motivated, and empowered to contribute their best work.Collaborate with Executive leadership on Senior & Executive leader organization design and development planning, helping to strengthen and build out the leadership talent bench across the organization.Lead the execution and evolution of leadership development programs that align with the overall mission and strategy of the organization, resulting in innovative, best practices and programs that will scale to leaders at all organizational levels.Build strong partnerships with our Senior leadership team while working across both corporate and field entities to create frameworks to support the development and engagement of multiple team member groups.Create a comprehensive multi-year learning and development strategy, informed by the organization's business strategy, learning needs, and emerging technology and tools.Translate strategy into actionable plans with clear priorities, roles and responsibilities, timelines, and measurable goals.Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure the effective and efficient planning, development, implementation, and evaluation of relevant and engaging training content that encompass a range of learning modalities, including in-person, virtual, and e-learning experiences, aligned to critical organizational capabilities and business priorities.Align with key business stakeholders to ensure "the right learning at the right time for the right team member" focusing on the areas of highest importance to the organization.Lead the identification, development, and deployment of strategies for change management and continuous improvement.Understand drivers and critical factors influencing team member engagement and partner with others to develop approaches to increase engagement across the team member lifecycle.Partner with business leaders to develop and execute a comprehensive plan to build a sustainable talent pipeline across all disciplines and foster a talent mindset across the leadership team.Educate and collaborate with hiring managers to promote relationships with target universities and other community resources.Lead the development of a formal Internship framework and utilization plan.Partner with leadership to lead the development of formal frameworks, including career pathways, ladders, and lattices, which promote a learning organization.Measure the impact of learning content, bringing data-driven, analytical rigor to the evaluation of content's effectiveness and business impact.Champion, role model, and embed MetroNational s Core Values into the fabric of our business, partnering closely with related teams.Manage recruitment and Learning & Development program budgets and annual forecasting.Build and lead a high-performance team, providing coaching and development opportunities. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment that promotes excellence.Requirements:

EDUCATION AND REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:Related Bachelor s Degree and 10+ years of progressive and increasingly responsible roles in leading talent acquisition and the development of high-performing team members across a variety of disciplines and organizational levels.Requires 5+ years of people and program management experience.Demonstrated experience creating scalable and innovative talent programs addressing team member development, leadership development, career planning & development, talent acquisition and team member engagement.Demonstrated experience designing and delivering training programs around a variety of functional and competency-based subject areas.Innovative problem-solving skills to address training challenges and adapt strategies required; maintains connection with external marketplace and learning industry leaders; uses analytical approach to then assess learning programs and make data-driven decisions.Strong business acumen and demonstrated ability to partner closely with business leaders and translate business objectives and requirements into high-impact programs with tangible and measurable results for the business.Exceptional at relationship management, networking, negotiation, and prioritization.
