**Inventory & Maintenance Records Assistant**
Maintenance Fairbanks, Alaska Minimum Experience **Entry-level** Compensation **DOE** Responsibilities:
* Updating Maintenance Tracking Program using completed log pages, work orders and other information.
* Weekly File Maintenance of Inventory/Maintenance Tracking program
* Gather completed log pages, inspection forms, yellow tags, 8130s and other paperwork daily
* Updating Historical Records as required using completed log pages, work orders, etc.
* Preparing & Scanning component historical records for shipping as needed
* Vendor Audits
* Updating ADs and ASBs tracked by aircraft.
* Maintaining serviceable & unserviceable Spare component files
* Responsible for all tasks related to the receiving, issuing, and shipping of parts and materials.
* Perform various material handling duties
* Participate in conducting cycle counts and physical inventories; assist in improving accuracy of counts.
* Perform other duties as required.
Physical Requirements:
* High school diploma or equivalent required
* Must be willing and able to learn software system as well as have some knowledge of Microsoft word and excel
* Must be able to sit at a desk and /or computer terminal for extended periods of time.
* Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
* Must have solid verbal and written communication skills.
* Ability to analyze situations, make logical decisions, and choose best course of action.
* Must be a self-starter with the ability to work with others in a team environment.
* Must be available for shift work, over-time, and some weekends dependent on logistic needs
* Must be 21 years old and presently authorized to work in the United States on a full time basis.
* Requires valid drivers license.
