SummaryThe Inventory Specialist is responsible for reviewing and reporting compliance of inventory management processes as it relates to the daily usage of the Warehouse Management System (WMS) and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system. This includes cycle counting, inventory adjustment transactions, root cause analysis, and other departmental needs.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities

Provides support for all internal departments that interact with the movement and consumption of inventory

Completes daily cycle counting/reconciliation activities

Creates and updates material profiles

Organizes inventory locations and maintain bin locations in ERP/WMS system

Investigates and resolves discrepancies and root causes between actual inventory levels and WMS system inventory levels

Participates or leads training and implementation of company-wide WMS and ERP systems

Reviews open purchase orders for part number discrepancies

Monitors multiple buildings inventory and WMS operations

Inventories team projects and independent projects as assigned

Job Requirements:Competencies and Skills

Working knowledge of enterprise-level WMS or ERP systems

Strong analytical, communication, and organization skills

Proven ability to problem solve

Analyzing, troubleshooting, and resolving inventory integrity issues

Ability to demonstrate and apply our workplace values

Flexibility to travel between multiple PD locations

Demonstrated commitment to valuing diversity and contributing to an inclusive working environment

Education/Certification

High School Diploma or equivalent

Preferred 2-year technical/business degree or equivalent

Experience

2 years of experience in inventory control

1 year of experience working in either a WMS or ERP system

Experience using Microsoft Office Products, MS-Windows, or Mac computers

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions

Walking, sitting, bending, twisting, reaching, pushing, pulling, and lifting may be required throughout the workday. The ability to lift 50 lbs.
