The warehouse associate plays an important role in all the warehouse functions starting from inflow of the products till the time products leaves the warehouse to ensure a smooth transition. The basic jobs for the warehouse operator are to support the operations by receiving, labelling, and locations on the racks, picking, checking, packing and shipping.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Receiving products into the warehouse, checking vendor names and order numbers.

Checking cartons, building skids and refilling racks; placing products in designated areas.

Scanning boxes with the use of an RF scanner; checking items for boxes and locating rows in which they can be found.

Separating orders for express, same day and long orders. Separating express orders and night orders.

Printing order pick lists.

Efficiently picking customer orders, ensuring order accuracy and locating processing areas.

Checking products and box sizes and counting the number of products.

Preparing and scheduling shipments as assigned, and processing returns.

Following and maintaining a safe work environment which also includes housekeeping.

REQUIREMENTS:

Able to read and count accurately, do simple math, and write legibly.

The ability to lift up to 30 pounds.
