We're seeking a seasoned Senior Manager, eCommerce and Marketing Analytics, who is passionate about leveraging data to create strategies and drive business decision making. The role is pivotal to the eCommerce and Digital Marketing businesses and will be in lock step with the business and marketing leaders to ensure the consumer and data are at the center of all actions. This person will be expected to provide insights and story telling to the business and will be looked at to drive the business reviews and guide the portfolio strategy. This role is pivotal in leading our analytics team to support business objectives, influence digital marketing strategies, and lead the development of a robust first-party data strategy. Ideal candidates will bring a strong analytical background, eCommerce experience, and a proven track record of driving growth through data-driven insights. This role will report into the VP of eCommerce and will be looked to as a trusted thought partner on how to drive the business forward.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead the analytics team in supporting business objectives, analyzing on site consumer behaviors and producing reporting that can be utilized by the digital marketing teams to optimize spend and ROAS.
  • Easily analyze topline site metrics (traffic, conversion, AOV, UPT, bounce, add to cart etc.) and have the ability to more deeply analyze consumer journeys before and throughout the time on site and provide the insight for the site teams to action to improve all metrics.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to drive business decisions and influence digital marketing spending. Provide the team with the right level of data that they can use to have productive conversations with third parties.
  • Conduct weekly business and operating reviews, presenting data-driven insights to stakeholders, making recommendations on opportunities in the business and quarterbacking follow ups and action items.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to understand all business drivers and quantify impacts. Partner closely with Finance and Merchandise Planning to ensure all elements of the business are incorporated into the forecast.
  • Build and deliver consumer cohort analysis, propensity models, and personalization strategies and partner with the team and IT to determine the data and resources needed. Regularly forecast the business through the new and returning consumer trends while also incorporating market data.
  • Develop and maintain a robust first-party data strategy, leading teams through a cookieless future. Be responsible for being on the forefront of evolving consumer data privacy laws and partner with legal and the product team to be compliant.
  • Build and develop a strong analytics team, providing clear expectations and regular, constructive feedback.
Qualifications:
  • 8+ years of experience in eCommerce, with a focus on analytics.
  • Strong analytical capabilities and proficiency in Microsoft tools and web analytics tools (Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics).
  • Advanced understanding of consumer and web metrics, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
  • Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally, driving alignment and influence across the organization.
  • Proven track record of building strategies that support long-range plans and delivering on objectives and budgets.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of storytelling complex data to a broad audience.
  • Previous experience managing a team of analysts and data scientists
