Our **St. Paul, Minnesota (MN)** office is looking for a **Lead Substation Designer** with 5 or more years of experience to join our **Electrical** team.**Responsibilities**+ Develop substation packages in AutoCAD up to 500kV. This includes single line diagrams, substation layouts, control building layouts, electrical elevation views, AC/DC schematics, wiring diagrams, relay panel elevations, etc.+ Develop a substation CAD design standardization process to expedite design timelines+ Develop a database of CAD tools and blocks for specific HV substations (and transmission lines) to support analysts and engineers with a plug-and-play AutoCAD experience+ Develop a database of major equipment for both substation (and transmission)+ Train, develop and mentor other design team members+ Perform quality control checks and provide feedback to team members**Qualifications**+ Associate degree (or higher) with emphasis on Drafting and Design Technology from an accredited technical institution or college in engineering.+ Minimum of 5 years of proven experience developingsubstationCAD designs.+ Must be proficient in using AutoCAD and Bluebeam.+ General knowledge of all aspects of electrical systems for substations.+ Familiarity with HV substation equipment such as main power transformers, circuit breakers, etc.+ Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize projects and tasks.+ Experience in creating CAD tools and symbol databases.Desired Skills & Experiences:+ Software: AutoCAD, MicroStation,Civil3D, Revit, PLS-CADD, PLS-POLEShare this job with a friend (cims.com/jobs/10951/lead-substation-designer---power-delivery/job?mode=apply&apply=yes&in\_iframe=1&hashed=-183#######)Share on social mediaPleaseCLICK HERE (imley-horn.com/careers/benefits/at-a-glance/) to learn more about the potential Benefits you may be eligible to receive with this role.If you require an accommodation, pleaseCLICK HERE.
