Television Freelance Hair/Makeup Artist

Middle East Broadcasting Networks, Inc. (MBN) is seeking a skilled Hair/Makeup Artist for our headquarters in Springfield, VA. MBN connects with audiences in the Middle East and North Africa through diverse media channels to provide balanced and accurate information. The Hair/Makeup Artist will prepare on-screen talent for appearances on television and digital platforms. This position requires flexibility, with weekly hours ranging from 0 to 15, depending on production needs.

Responsibilities:

• Apply hair care and makeup techniques that comply with MBN standards.
• Style hair using various tools and ensure makeup appears flawless under different lighting conditions.
• Achieve professional, camera-ready looks promptly (within 30 minutes).
• Perform touch-ups and adapt styles according to the specific brand requirements of MBN.
• Showcase versatility in styling and makeup for both male and female talents.

Qualifications:

• Certification from a recognized Makeup and Hair Stylist Academy or at least 5 years of experience with a leading makeup brand or studio.
• Portfolio demonstrating a wide range of styles and techniques.
• Expertise in both male and female styling and makeup application.
• Excellent skills in facial contouring and HD makeup.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively under pressure.
• Detailed knowledge of hair care products and tools.
