Position Summary

This ERP Business Analyst will conduct constant analysis of existing business process configuration within D365, and partner with production locations on improvements & changes. The focus for this role is on Continuous Improvement of D365 utilization across all HBD location.

Since this role is the point of contact for all requests and changes to the production environment including technical errors and enhancement requests, the role requires understanding of all aspects of D365 from customer service to Manufacturing, through supply chain and to financial reconciliation. Key qualities for this position include strong communication skills, teamwork and partnership capabilities, business process knowledge & improvement methods, self-motivation and, critical thinking.


Principle Duties and Responsibilities

  • Primary point of contact for operations errors & troubleshooting technical issues raised by the plants. Work directly with our partner of record to resolve major production issues that occur.
  • Champion new functional capabilities and participate in defining the D365 roadmap. Research and develop new functionality that is released by Microsoft and present it to the ERP Steering Committee.
  • Vet and perform analysis on requests covering change improvements, system configuration improvement, process re-routing, etc.
  • Interface with ERP Core Team and D365 partner of record to coordinate change, vet change across all other production plants, test & ensure no unintended impact for changes applied to D365.
  • Partner with plant Continuous Improvement teams on suggesting and implementing process improvements.
  • Lead & perform training to existing users as new functionality is introduced.
  • Perform regular check points with all plants to receive input on status and confirm appropriate process is being followed.
  • Perform all system validation during Microsoft programed upgrades.


Experience and Education

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business or technical field.
  • 3+ years of ERP experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 or Dynamics AX is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of ERP Finance & Operations processes.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with a variety of stakeholders and end users with an adaptive style, influencing skill and change management orientation.
  • Strong tactical, problem solving and executional skills and project management experience.
  • Advance technical skill with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.
