Leadership: Lead, mentor, engage and develop teams to maximize their contributions. Manage salaried staff to ensure the hourly staff, contingent labor, supporting campus managers (when available) and non profit group's successful execution of concessions events to include stand-set up (up to 68 stands during football season), completion of all venue preparation tasks. On occasion, multi-venue events could occur simultaneously. Ensure safety and sanitation standards in all operations. Manage performance of director report team to include salaried and hourly employees. Responsible for overall execution of sporting events.
Client Relationship: Develop and maintain effective client and customer rapport. Maintain a clear understanding of the clients needs and how to deliver client requests in a timely fashion. Attend all client related meetings to discuss execution of concessions events and upcoming event schedule. Approximately 40% of time spent interfacing with the client (Auburn University Athletics Executive Leadership) through in-person meetings.
Vendor Management: Develop and maintain a productive relationship with all applicable vendors to ensure all event day operations are successful. This includes vendors for product, service, contingent labor, NPO groups and subcontracted food service and alcohol.
Financial Performance: Adopt Aramark process and systems. Responsible for commission payouts to non-profit groups, managing concession P&L to include the roll-out of alcohol sales in Jordan-Hare stadium.
Productivity: Implement and maintain Aramark agenda for both labor and food initiatives. Directly manage salaried staff to ensure event set up and all applicable concession venue/product roll-outs are successful.
Compliance: Maintain a safe and healthy environment for clients, customers and employees. Comply with all applicable policies, rules and regulations, including but not limited to those relating to safety, health, wage and hour.
Culinary: Understanding temperature logs, food waste, and food safety.
Inventory Management:Adhere to all Aramark Accounting and Inventory policies. Ability to work alongside management team to reconcile vast amounts of inventory every week in multiple venues and storage warehouses.
