Job Description Founded in 1968 to meet the post-secondary and continuing education needs of Cecil County residents, Cecil College has been serving the community and shaping its future for more than 50 years. The College is governed by a Board of Trustees appointed by the governor. The Colleges fifth president, Dr. Mary Way Bolt, reports directly to the Board of Trustees.

Cecil College is centrally located in Marylands most northeastern county, just one half mile from Interstate 95. It is easily accessible from Philadelphia and Baltimore, as well as from Wilmington, Delaware.

With a diverse student population, Cecil College enrolls approximately 2,500 credit students and 3,400 non-credit students. Cecil offers associate degrees, certificate programs and non-credit classes. Cecil offers a variety of associate degree and certificate programs.

Instructor need for basic CADD course designed for entry level mechanical technician certification.

Upon completion of the course the students will be able to successfully understand the AutoCAD user interface and workspace, use basic drawing, editing, and viewing tools, organize a drawing using layers, understand and insert blocks (symbols), prepare a layout to be plotted, and add text, hatching, and dimensions.

The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting classes in accordance with Cecil College approved syllabi and the stipulations of the department. The successful candidate will also be responsible for meeting every scheduled class, including the final examination, for the full number of scheduled minutes in the room assigned. Any changes in meeting place or time must be reported to the Office of Academic Programs prior to the class meeting.

**Requirements:**

Masters degree preferred. Teaching experience preferred. Familiarity with the use of technology (online learning management systems, etc). Proficient in word processing, e-mail and web browsing.

** ***Current Covid Protocol:****Cecil College recently sent out important information about the COVID-19 Vaccination and Testing Emergency Temporary Standard (ETS) put forth by the U.S. Department of Labor's Occupational Safety and Health Administration. At present, a court-ordered stay has been upheld delaying the ETS implementation. The U.S. Judicial Panel on Multidistrict Litigation decided which circuit will hear the consolidated cases from around the country.
