The Ad Hoc Growth Team is looking for a Proposal Manager III to join the Team. This is a fully remote position.

We help implement modern technologies that government agencies are increasingly interested in, bringing in best practices as we do: among other things, this includes API design, implementation, and governance; platform infrastructure for developers; responsive, accessible websites; and mobile applications.

The Proposal Manager at Ad Hoc is a key member of the Growth Team and contributes directly to our goal of cultivating new customer relationships. They are responsible for developing and submitting compliant and compelling proposals and work closely with our internal teams as well as industry partners throughout the opportunity lifecycle. They are responsible for interviewing subject matter experts, including engineers, and creating technical content that is compliant with proposal instructions and compelling to the government evaluator.

A Proposal Writer/Manager uses their knowledge of federal contracting the federal procurement process to create compliant and compelling proposals that answer the challenges government agencies face in delivering software solutions. They help shape and articulate winning proposal products that promote our mission to empower government customers to deliver superior digital services. Proposals Writer/Managers embrace change and a dynamic remote work environment.

Requirements

All work must be conducted within the U.S.

As a contractor to the federal government, all hires may be required to complete additional background screenings at the time of hire or any time thereafter as requested.

What You ll Do

Develop, manage and submit winning proposals:

Manages development and coordinates submission of compliant and compelling proposal products, including technical, management, and pricing volumes

Supports workstreams to prepare for and execute on technical demonstrations and oral presentations as required

Manages bid teams comprising internal and external (partner) resources

Interviews technical delivery resources to extract helpful information

Delivers a compelling proposal story that aligns with our mission to empower government customers

Ensures proposal products reflect priorities discovered in shaping activities during capture

Develops best practices and creates repeatable processes to enable the scaling of growth in technical/proposal writing and proposal management

Collaborates with Growth Team members, including BD/Capture Managers, Proposal Managers, Solutions Architects, and Business Unit teams that serve target customer agencies, and technical subject matter experts

Maintains an understanding of the government market and demonstrates a passion for addressing the challenges agencies face in delivering digital services

Maintains and organizes proposal content to support its use across the company and for future proposals

What You ll Bring

8-10

years experience in federal contracting, or equivalent experience

A proven track record of leading winning proposal efforts

Ability to work in a dynamic and remote environment, with both internal and external stakeholders

Ability to work on concurrent time-sensitive projects with tight deadlines

Adept at collaboration tools and technologies

Familiarity with Agile development methodologies preferred

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

Commitment to work East Coast hours

Actual compensation is influenced by a wide range of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and responsibility. The range of starting pay for this role is $96,777 - $130,491
